Plans & Billing
How Supero plans, Power usage, storage, add-ons, and quotas work, and how to read your usage from the billing API.
Overview
Every domain on Supero is on a plan. A plan grants a monthly allowance across a set of capacity dimensions — projects, tenants, live deployments, team members, app generations, AI-agent prompts, API requests, storage, and a usage currency called Power. This page explains the plan catalog, how Power and storage are metered, what happens when you go over an allowance, and how to read your usage back from the API.
Plan changes, add-ons, and Power credit purchases are managed from the Billing section of your workspace at app.supero.dev. Only a domain_admin can change your plan, buy Power credit packs, or manage add-ons — other roles on your domain can view usage but cannot modify billing.

How billing works: Power & storage
Supero meters two separate capacity cards:
- •Power — a single usage currency that covers activity across the platform: API requests, app generations, AI-agent prompts, connector runs, and app deployments. Different kinds of activity draw Power at different rates, so Power is the one number to watch instead of tracking every action separately.
- •Storage — bytes stored across your databases and blobs, tracked and capped independently of Power.
Your plan grants a monthly Power allowance and a storage cap. When your monthly Power allowance runs out, you can cover the overage with prepaid Power credits instead of being blocked (see Quotas & overage handling below). Power credit packs are bought once, do not expire, and roll over month to month.
| Pack | Power | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 50K Power | 50,000 | $49 |
| 250K Power | 250,000 | $199 |
| 1M Power | 1,000,000 | $599 |
Plans
The catalog has six tiers. Trial is free and has no live deployments (build and preview only); Basic is also preview-only; Starter and up include one or more live deployments. Enterprise is unlimited across every dimension and is provisioned by contact-sales rather than self-serve checkout.

💡 Annual billing
Paying annually saves 20% versus paying monthly on every paid tier.
The Trial plan runs for 14 days and does not require a payment method. Every paid plan (Basic and up) requires a payment method on file.
What's included by plan
Features are cumulative going up the tiers:
- •All plans: REST API, Schema Designer, API keys, and role-based access control.
- •Basic and up: connector access (the managed integrations catalog and your own custom connectors).
- •Pro and up: the AI Agent and advanced RBAC (custom roles + audit log) are bundled in free, plus full integrations catalog access, multi-backend data connections, and priority support.
- •Business and up: a dedicated Slack support channel, and platform field-level encryption when it ships. Client-side field encryption works on every plan today.
- •Enterprise: custom plugin development, white-label branding, an SLA-backed uptime commitment, and a dedicated support engineer.
Add-ons
Add-ons unlock a capability on any plan that does not already bundle it. AI Agent and RBAC are included free starting on Pro, so you only need to buy them separately on Trial, Basic, or Starter.
| Add-on | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| AI Agent | $25 / mo | Every plan gets 10 free AI-agent queries per month; this add-on unlocks unlimited use (governed by your Power budget). Bundled free on Pro and up. |
| Custom domain | $25 / project / mo | Listed in the catalog, but custom domains are not self-service and buying this does not enable them. Read Custom Domains before adding it, and arrange it with [email protected] instead. |
| Multi-tenancy | $99 / 100 tenants / mo | Adds 100 tenant slots to your plan cap; stack units for more capacity. |
| RBAC | $49 / mo | Custom roles, granular per-schema permissions, and an audit log. Bundled free on Pro and up. |
Quotas & overage handling
Each plan sets an overage policy for what happens once you reach a capacity limit:
| Policy | Behavior |
|---|---|
| block | Requests beyond the limit are rejected once you hit it (used on Trial). |
| alert_then_block | You are alerted as you approach the limit, then blocked once you exceed it (the default on Basic through Business). |
| alert_only | You are alerted but never blocked, with a grace buffer above the included allowance (used on Enterprise). |
For the Power card specifically, if you're about to be blocked but hold enough prepaid Power credits to cover the overage, the request is allowed and the shortfall is drawn from your credit balance instead of being rejected.
If a payment fails, your paid plan's limits are preserved for a short grace period (a few days) before your account falls back to Trial limits — so a single failed card charge does not cut you off immediately.
Usage & billing API
Read-only billing endpoints are scoped to the domain in your JWT or API key — you never pass a domain or tenant identifier as a parameter. The full request and response reference is in the Billing & Usage API.
| Endpoint | Returns |
|---|---|
| GET /api/v1/billing/plans | The current plan catalog. |
| GET /api/v1/billing/usage?period_month=YYYY-MM | Your usage summary for the given month. |
| GET /api/v1/billing/credits | Your Power credit wallet balance. |
| GET /api/v1/billing/credits/packs | Purchasable Power credit packs. |
| GET /api/v1/billing/credits/transactions | Your Power credit purchase/consumption ledger. |
| GET /api/v1/billing/addons | The add-on catalog. |
Usage summary shape
GET /api/v1/billing/usage returns a summary for the requested calendar month, including AI token counts, a per-model cost breakdown, and the gauges below:
